Senior Review
The
Senior Review is the process to review all work completed and provide a
clear framework of all outstanding academic requirements needed for
graduation. Students are strongly encouraged to complete a Senior Review
two (2) semesters prior to the expected graduation date.
Honors College students should meet the
Honors College staff at least one (1) semester prior to the expected
graduation date to certify the fulfillment of the Honors College
requirements.

Graduation Information
The School of Business-Camden (SBC) awards
degrees three times a year, January, May, and October. Students, who
complete their studies in the summer, may file for an October dated
diploma. Students, who complete their studies in December, should file
for a January dated diploma. Students, who complete their studies in
May, are eligible to file for a May dated diploma.
The SBC
holds a single commencement ceremony in May of each year. Students who
have successfully satisfied all the requirements for graduation in the
previous October or December may participate in the May commencement.
Students, who have not successfully fulfilled all the requirements for
graduation, prior to the commencement ceremony, will not be permitted to
participate in commencement.
Graduation Requirements
1) Students must
successfully earn at least 120 credits.
2) Students must have
a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.000.
3) Student must have
a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.000 in the Business Core.
4) Students must have
fulfilled all the pre-major and general requirements of the School of
Business-Camden (SBC), and the specific requirements of the major
program of study.
5) Students must
complete 30 of their final 42 credits at Rutgers Camden, including at
least 12 credits in the major.
6) Students must have
successfully discharged all academic, disciplinary and financial
obligations to the University.
7) Students must
fully complete and submit a Diploma Application with the Academic
Services Offices within the published deadlines, including a CCAS Minor
Certification Form for those with an arts & sciences minor.

Applications can be obtained at and resubmitted to the Academic Services
Office or obtained online at the Academic Services website Forms link.
1) May
graduates: Applications will be accepted February 1st through March 1st
2) October
Graduates: Applications will be accepted June 1st through
August 15th
3) January
graduates: Applications will be accepted October 1st through
October 31st
In Absentia
If you do not wish to attend the
ceremonies, indicate so on your Diploma Application. Diplomas will be
mailed.
Graduation Certification
Graduation certifications will be performed for students who have
submitted a completed Diploma Application and Minor Certification form,
if required, by the publicized deadlines. A preliminary list of approved
students will be posted on the Academic Services- Senior website,
approximately one (1) month prior to graduation.
Any
student who is found to be deficient during the certification process
will be immediately contacted to resolve the discrepancy. If the matter
is not satisfactorily resolved, a certified letter will be sent advising
the student that he/she is ineligible for graduation.
Honors Designation
Honors designation is determined by the
cumulative grade point average (GPA) at the time of graduation. Please
see below:
Cum Laude (Honors)
3.500-3.749 GPA
Magna Cum
Laude (High Honors) 3.750-3.899
GPA
Summa Cum Laude
(Highest Honors) 3.900-4.000 GPA
Graduation Seminars
Graduation Seminars will be held to discuss graduation certification,
commencement and related matters. They will be held as follows:

Graduation Regalia
Students may purchase regalia (caps,
gowns, hoods) from the Bookstore’s Graduation Fair: March 3-5,
12:00-6:00 pm. The cost is $48.00. After March 31, a $10 late fee is
charged. It is imperative that you provide the correct height,
weight and degree information to ensure that you receive the appropriate
attire. Bookstore hours are: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 7:00pm; Friday
8:30am – 4:30pm.
