SBC IN THE NEWS
Dr. SNEHAMAY BANERJEE
(associate professor, SBC-management) has been elected president of the
Northeast Decision Sciences Institute, a professional organization of
academicians and practitioners interested in the application of
quantitative and behavioral methods to the problems of society.
Dr. BRIAN HOLTZ (assistant professor, SBC-management) has published
an article, “Fair Today, Fair Tomorrow? A Longitudinal Investigation of
Overall Justice Perceptions,” in the recent edition of the Journal of
Applied Psychology.
Dr. BRIANCE MASCARENHAS (professor, SBC-management) published an
article, “The Emerging CEO Agenda,” in the September edition of the
Journal of International Management, one of the world’s top
scholarly journals in the area of international management.
Dr. RONALDO PARENTE
(assistant professor,
SBC-management) has had two co-authored articles accepted for
publication in the Journal of International Management: “The
Effect of Supply Chain Integration, Modular Production, and Cultural
Distance on New Product Development: A Dynamic Capability Approach” and
“Distribution Systems of Global Insurers: A Cultural Perspective on
Entry Mode Selection.”
Dr. JULIE RUTH
(associate professor, SBC-marketing) was the lead author on a coauthored
paper, "The Influence of Change-focused Advertising Appeals and
Self-Referencing on Persuasion," that received the American Marketing
Association's Best Paper Award at the 2009 Summer Educators'
Conference. The paper also received the Best Paper Award for the
Consumer Psychology & Behavior Track.

COURIER-POST, Sept. 29
Headlined “Online program at Rutgers
helps jobless,” a news story at the top of the front page of the South
Jersey section spotlighted a Rutgers School of Business–Camden
initiative designed to assist unemployed New Jersey citizens. Jonathan
