The problem has been corrected, and instructor permission is no longer required.

Take advantage of this important course!

FOUR-YEAR PROGRAM Starting in Fall 2008 the School of Business will transition from an upper division program to a full four-year undergraduate program. This means that starting in September 2008, freshmen can be admitted directly into the School of Business. While Rutgers-Camden will continue to welcome students who transfer from county colleges in order to earn their Rutgers business degree, the campus soon will provide new high school graduates with a full business immersion experience from their first day as a college student. You can help us prepare by sending your suggestions. What types of activities would our new freshmen want? What types of support might they need? It’s important for us to get your point of view. Also, what are your ideas in general for improving our overall program? If someone you know would like more information about our undergraduate curriculum, activities or events please visit tell them to visit our web site at http://business.camden.rutgers.edu/ or call 856-225-6800. RESEARCH PROJECT OPPORTUNITY:
Dr. Baveja is working on a research project for the NJ Department of Transportation. He sent the following announcement:
Be part of a NJ Department of Transportation Project and get paid!
During the data collection phase of the project the students will have to drive their own vehicle along a given route. We will provide them a GPS device that will record their location. We will show the students how to use the GPS device and collect the data. We will be collecting data for five consecutive weeks on two routes during weekdays starting January 28th and ending February 29th. There is a specific route for Camden campus students. The students are reimbursed $0.31 per mile of driving for their gasoline and vehicle wear and tear and $10 per hour of driving. The total mileage and driving time are calculated from the point/time the student leaves his/her house back to his/her house. In total two to three students from Camden would be sufficient.
For further information, please contact Mihalis Golias - golias@eden.rutgers.edu
RESUME TIP from Dr. Rabinowitz
Dr. Rabinowitz teaches our Career Planning and Management Course. In working with his students, he learned that few are aware that they are receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Students incorrectly thought that their degree was called a "Bachelor of Business Management." It’s important to have the correct name for your degree on your resumes.

WARNING NOTICES – WHY DO WE SEND THEM AND WHAT TO DO NEXT
Your professor may send you a warning notice if he or she is concerned about your academic performance and/or your attendance. If you receive a warning, go talk to you professor to see what you need to do in order to improve your success in the class. Many professors assign points for class participation, and frequent absences can significantly affect your grade.
Students should also use the warning notices to evaluate whether they should drop a class. The drop date is now later in the semester in order for faculty to have time to provide students with graded feedback. Per the most recent academic calendar for Spring the last day to drop a course is April 7th. Note that the calendar at http://registrar.rutgers.edu/CM/Spring08_calendar.htm provides specific information.
