* Special Alert for Accounting Majors+++++Class of 2010 & Class of
2011 * * *
The
Career Center has just learned that the Big 4 accounting firms have
decided to change their recruiting methods this fall. They will
interview sophomores and juniors only during the fall semester,
as early as the first week of October, with resume deadlines in
early September.
On-campus Recruiting for 2009 Summer Internships (for Juniors)
and potential Summer Leadership programs (for Sophomores)
with Big 4 firms will take place in October 2008, concurrent with
recruiting for full-time positions (Class of 2009).
These are great opportunities for gaining experience for a career in
public accounting. Paid internships at these firms include training
and other activities with interns from other schools. Many interns
receive full-time job offers.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS
The
Career Center will hold a special seminar on Thursday, August
28, 2008 to provide information on how to prepare for these
highly competitive interviews. Students will receive correspondence
with more details during the summer.
Thanks and keep in touch.

and organizational implications of ecommerce and emerging
innovations.
