The "Good Works" Initiative

Our Vision and Mission

VISION
Faculty, staff and students of the School of Business Camden who reach out and positively impact our constituent communities.

MISSION
To support and facilitate the “Good Works” of Rutgers School of Business-Camden (SBC) for improving both our immediate and the global communities.
• “Support” includes our time, effort and funding for incidentals.
• “Facilitation” includes:

Attracting involvement of other groups and individuals, mentoring as needed for others to develop their outreach ideas, and persuading toward action as we are able.

Serving as a clearinghouse for good works ideas, sometimes involving an active role in partnerships but often by creating an initial match or introduction that empowers others to carry out their ideas.

Coordinating donations/contributions where giver and receiver have no other contact point.
We seek initiative activities that are sustainable collaborations that fit with, leverage and/or contribute to the SBC’s core missions of teaching, research and service.
