Hospitality Management Program
Whether you are advancing your current opportunities
or starting a new career, the Bachelor’s of
Hospitalty Management at Rutgers University will
provide the business management skills combined with
hospitality relevance to make you successful.
The Bachelors in Hospitality
Management Program is designed primarily for
individuals who have an interest in pursuing careers
within the hospitality industry in areas such as
Hotel Management, Casino Administration, Food &
Beverage Operations, Hospitality entrepreneurship or
any related field.
Working closely with the hotels and
casinos in Atlantic City as well as reaching out to
hospitality needs across the Delaware Valley
(including Philadelphia), the program prepares you
for management opportunities. The curriculum is
developed to not just develop hospitality aptitude
but to develop broad business and management
skills. Skills that will be transferable to all
different industries and opportunities.
Upon completion of the program,
students will have been trained in skills such as
team building, strategic planning, profit
improvement, quality improvement and effective
integration of technology into the industry. They
will be prepared to initiate, innovate and make wise
decisions in this increasingly complex and
international field. Experiential learning is the
base of the program.
