Duty Calls

When business student Jason Halvorsen, a captain in the Air national Guard, was deployed to Iraq in the spring of 2006, he had a lot on his mind. But Jason didn’t have to worry about losing time or credits toward his MBA degree. The flexibility of Rutgers’ program and professors allowed him to work on self-directed, independent study while in Iraq. “With my line of work, i needed a program that would accommodate complexities,” Jason says. The School of Business–Camden fit the bill perfectly, working with Jason— and others like him—not only when he was in iraq, but throughout other deployments he’s had to manage. “it’s all working out really well.”

Admissions process for MBA applicants:

Applicants to the Rutgers-Camden MBA program are required to provide the following:

  1. An online application (Program code: 53135).
  2. $65 Application fee.
  3. Original undergraduate and graduate transcripts
  4. A personal statement
  5. At least two letters of recommendation
  6. GMAT  or (GMAT Exemption Information)
  7. A current resume
