Expertise: corporate financing and investment, role of accounting information in equity valuation, financial reporting, earnings management

Dr. Kim’s research focuses on the role of accounting information in equity valuation, and managerial discretion in corporate financial reporting. His research output has appeared in such respected scholarly journals as the Accounting Review, Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting, Journal of Economics and Business and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. A current research question he is asking is, “The Quality of Accruals and Credit Ratings”
