![]() Greetings to all of you who visit my homepage! This site is intended to help students and provide some information for my students, for any curious souls who stumble onto this site. You can access different links from this page to get information about the courses I currently teach and some of my academic interests that are related to financial reporting, capital market, financial statement analysis and international accounting. My cyber home, as you probably noticed, is a work-in-progress and is under perpetual (re)construction. I hope to liven up the materials in the future with updated information.

Baruch College, CUNY Expertise: corporate financing and investment, role of accounting information in equity valuation, financial reporting, earnings management Courses frequently taught: Advanced Accounting (Undergraduate), Financial Statement Analysis (MBA), Problems in Financial Reporting (MBA), Accounting Theory and Public Policy (MBA) Dr. Kim’s research focuses on the role of accounting information in equity valuation, and managerial discretion in corporate financial reporting. His research output has appeared in such respected scholarly journals as the Accounting Review, Journal of International Financial Management and Accounting, Journal of Economics and Business and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting. A current research question he is asking is, “The Choice Between Stickiness of Dividends and Repurchases”
